Dieting Support: Weight Loss Challenges
alright so here is where the members come in and the participation begins.
the following is an outline to what you are participants of the challenges will be asked to complete throughout the week:
sunday weigh in days!
- a mod will make a post every sunday calling for participants to weigh in. in that post you will make a comment with the subject heading of your team's color then post the following information* in the body of the comment:
weight loss/gain: (+/-) [insert lbs here]
weight loss goal for challenge: [insert lbs here]
optional - picture and/or measurements:
chest/bust- [insert measurement here] (you may also not any +/- from the last weigh-in)
1. diet related
2. exercise related
3. personal/healthy habit development (get 8 hrs of sleep, drink 64oz of water a day, etc.)
*please note all information must be present in order to count the weigh-in and participation
tuesday team challenges will posted.
challenges will be posted by a mod and each member of the challenge should just like with weigh-ins comment back to the post with the subject title being their team color and with the body of the comment being the actual challenge. the format will change week to week due the fact that challenges will consist of anything from exercise challenges, questions to answer, or quotes/articles/videos to respond to. so a sample will be constructed and each comment should follow the same outline as the examples.
wednesday team challenges will be due before midnight!
also in order to count the participation all required parts of the challenge post must be completed, no excuses.
thursday team and individual standings will be posted.
individual standings will based on participation in team challenges and percentage of weight loss from SW (starting weight) to their CW (current weight).
team standings will also be based on total member participation in team challenges and total percentage of weight loss combined from each team member.
that gives you approx. 24 hours to complete the challenge so that your participation will be counted in the teams' participation percentage.
friday team leaders check-ups posted
participation will not be calculated for these post. this is purely motivation tool and a way for leaders to check up on team members during the week to see how its going.
part of this will be a mod required question and the other will be purely based off of the team leader.
it may seem like a lot but this community should be active on a consistent basis in order to keep the team aspect alive and for all members to stay active with their weight loss.
